Hi and welcome to my blog about Kojak the second chance chicken and her friends. Kojak lives in my kitchen, she was poorly when I got her from a rescue me and my husband carried out from a free range farm where the chickens were due to go to slaughter.
Kojak is Chicken number 13 although I now have 18 plus two cockerels!!!
My blog is about how much of a positive impact chickens can have on your life, how they are rescued and saved from sure death at the slaughter house once they have spent a year supplying eggs in sometimes appalling conditions. Rescue chickens are amazing creatures and to be able to give them a second chance in life benefits me as well as them x
